Malcom, Iowa--Sergio Franyutti has been named vice president of technology at polyurethane industry supplier ITWC Inc. Franyuti will oversee all technical aspects at ITWC, including research and development, technical services, and quality control, said the group's announcement.
Franyutti has been with Malcolm, Iowa-based ITWC since August 2005, starting as technical director, and has spearheaded efforts to improve and document standard procedures for production, quality control, and technical services as well as product literature, material safety datab sheets, certificates of analysis," said the group. Previously, Franyutti held a variety of posts at Bayer Corp., primarily in the polyurethane division.
Sergio has proven himself to be a valuable asset and team member for ITWC, Inc. While his technical competence and managerial skill have earned him this promotion, it is his creativity, loyalty, and desire to succeed as a team that inspire those who work with him," said Roger Smith, president of ITWC, in the company statement.
ITWC has also added two new sales agents, Rick Stamper and Jim Mahoney, to aid its sales growth. ITWC said Stamper has over 30 years experience in polyurethanes with Bayer Corp., specialising in coatings, adhesives, elastomers and rigid polyurethane foams. Mahoney has years of experience both processing and selling polyurethanes and polyesters, ITWC said. With the recent addition of our state-of-the-art polyester plant, Jim's experience with prepolymers and polyesters will add a positive dimension to our sales team for the diverse product line," Smith commented.
