Missisauga, Ontario – Canadian-headquartered foam specialist Woodbridge has appointed Kai Jacobsen as its new president and CEO. He succeeds John Zianis, who has stepped down for health reasons.
Jacobsen has been with the company since 2017, when he joined as president of the moulded foam division. Two years later, he became SVP of the formed plastics, interior parts and assembly & diversified group, returning to moulded foam as president once more in 2020, with additional oversight of the business unit’s regional leadership team. His most recent role was as the company’s acting COO.
“Kai is a highly respected business leader who has played an instrumental role in Woodbridge’s growth across the markets we serve,” said chairman Robert Magee. “His proven ability to lead the implementation of our global business strategies, and his focus on continuously strengthening our operations and energising our diverse workforce will be important in delivering on our organisational strategy.”
