Tokyo — Cumulative polyurethane production growth in Japan in the first half of 2017 grew by 10% compared to the 2016 period reaching 94 kT compared with 86 kT in the 2016 half, according to figures from Japan’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
Month on month, Japan produced 10.9 kT flexible foam in June 2017 compared with 10.6 kT in June 2016. In terms of rigid foam, Japan produced 6.17kt in June 2017 compared with 6.04 kT in the same months in 2016.
