Tokyo — Japan's cumulative polyurethane production January to July 2016 was 100.4kt, up by around 1% on the same period in 2015.
However, it is around 14 kT lower than the amount produced in the same period in 2014. In 2014 Japan crossed the 100 kT production threshold between June and July. In 2015, it reached this level between July and August, according to figures from Japan's Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
