Tokyo — Polyurethane production in Japan rose by 9% in February 2017 compared with February 2016, according to figures from Japan's Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
Production volumes reached 15 691 tonnes in the month compared with 14 487 tonnes in the same month in 2016. This is an increase of 2525 tonnes itself up on the 703 tonnes increase between January 2016 and January 2015.
Overall production in the first two months of the 2017 was 30 455 tonnes compared with 27 930 tonnes in the same period in 2016.
