Virginia Beach, Virginia - Engineering company JES, based in Virginia, which specialises in foundation repair, basement waterproofing and moisture control in crawl spaces, has expanded its services to include concrete lifting.
The concrete lifting operation will specialise in lifting concrete slab foundation, sidewalks and patios, with a system that uses a high-density polyurethane foam injected beneath the concrete. The foam quickly dries with no shrinkage on curing, so the concrete is safely and effectively lifted, JES said in a 2 Aug statement.
The company said that, in addition to quick installation, concrete lifting also "minimises tripping hazards, can be installed year round, and eliminates the need to replace an entire concrete slab."
"We spend so much time helping people with their foundation problems that we've encountered a lot of sinking concrete issues," said Jesse Waltz, president of JES Foundation Repair, in a company statement. "Now we can help homeowners restore their foundation and any sinking concrete on their property."
Structural engineering firm JES is the region's largest authorised dealer for Foundation Supportworks products, Basement Systems products, and CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation products.
JES operates out of three locations in Virginia including Virginia Beach, Chester, and Manassas and serves Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC and Northeastern North Carolina.
