Nanjing, China – Jiangsu Maysta has appointed Steve Hulme as vice-president commercial operations, a newly created role.
Hulme is responsible for global sales, marketing and technical service functions for the company's polyurethanes business. He also takes on the role of general manager for Maysta International.
Maysta chairman Sun Yu said: 'We are delighted to attract Steve to our company and senior executive team.'
Hulme has more than 30 years' experience in the polyurethane industry and was most recently general manager and senior vice president, polyurethane additives at Air Products, prior to its purchase by Evonik.
Mayasta makes a wide range of polyurethane additives and recently opened two new plants in Nanjing with 21 kT/year capacity. They are slated to start operation in 2019.
