Denver, Colorado -- Building products maker Johns Manville (JM) has expanded into the Canadian market, the Berkshire Hathaway company said.
The Denver-based company's JM Corbond insulation, a premium high-yield closed-cell spray foam insulation, is now available in Canada. JM said that the Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC), a national evaluation service for construction materials, products and services, confirmed the product meets its standards for use in commercial and residential buildings.
The Corbond III insulation is a spray-applied polyurethane foam insulation that can be used alone or with fibre glass insulation "to create custom thermal solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications," JM said. It added that the insulation can be applied at temperatures as low as -4 degrees Celsius.
