Denver, Colorado - Johns Manville Corp., which recently acquired Corbond Corp., a manufacturer of high-yield closed-cell spray foam insulation, has agreed a multi-year exclusive agreement with Lowe's Companies Inc. to provide insulation products for home and business. Johns Manville will be an exclusive supplier to Lowe's - a Mooresville, North Carolina-based home improvement retailer.
Todd Raba, ceo of Johns Manville, said, "We have a 150-year history of innovation, and this multi-year agreement reinforces Lowe's commitment to delivering industry-leading products to the home improvement market."
JM Corbond III is a spray-applied, medium-density closed-cell polyurethane foam plastic insulation that can be used alone or in hybrid systems with JM fibreglass in residential, commercial and industrial applications.
In a separate statement, the company revealed it has been selected as the premium supplier to Crossroads C&I Distributors - an Edmonton-based distributor and fabricator of mechanical insulation products in Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, and Northwest Territories, handling distribution of all of JM's pipe and equipment and air handling insulation products, a 19 Oct JM statement said.
