Craoiva, Romania - US auto parts manufacturer Johnson Controls will employ 185 people at a new factory to be built in Craiova, Romania.
The factory will be part of the Ford Romania platform, a Johnson Controls' spokesperson told UTI, 23 Aug.
Work has already commenced on the plant and it is due to open 28 May 2012. The company will make seats, benches and covers for Ford.
The company spokesperson did not disclose details of investment made.
Johnson Controls currently has three production units in Romania, in the cities of Mioveni, Pitesti and Ploiesti, where the US company makes chairs, benches and covers. The company's Romanian operations were established in 2002.
