Stuttgart, Germany -- Johnson Controls has been awarded Supplier of the Year for the second time at the Automotive Interiors Expo 2015 by an independent jury of 12 international automobile journalists.

Johnson Controls last won this category in 2012.
"It's a great honor for Johnson Controls to win the 'Supplier of the Year' award - especially with such a strong field of competitors," said Peter Heift, group vice president and general manager Trim at Johnson Controls Automotive Seating. "It is a great success for Johnson Controls to be the first company to receive this award for a second time.
The jury cited Johnson Controls' consistent focus on technology and innovation, as well as the expansion of its global reach, as reasons for the award. "Pioneering technology developments, cutting-edge designs and leading concept innovations, as well as realizing impressive growth, including the opening of new and state-of-the-art facilities around the world - it's been quite a year for Johnson Controls," said Dean Slavnich, chairman of the Automotive Interiors Expo Awards.
