By David Reed, UT EditorBillingham, UK-Johnson Matthey Catalysts plc, describing itself as the world's leading manufacturer of organic titanates, is to increase prices of its Vertec products which are used in polymer, inks and coatings applications including polyurethanes."There has been a notable rise in the cost of our key raw materials used in the production of the Vertec range of products, in some cases well in excess of 30 percent," stated Joe Polson, sales manager, in a statement issued by the firm. "Significant price increases are being implemented with immediate effect and further increases are likely if these costs continue to rise," the statement added."
