Cavan, Ireland-Kingspan Insulation announced 12 Feb that it is buying three new insulation production lines for "further expansion throughout Europe."
One new line has been purchased and will be installed at the Irish-headquartered group's Castleblayney plant in Ireland. Kingspan said it is about to buy two more, one for the north of England and one for eastern Europe.
These new lines will produce Kingspan's range of insulation products, said the company's announcement. They represent "not only a massive investment for the company, signalling a major expansion of its manufacturing capabilities, but will also provide new jobs in these areas," the group said.
Kingspan Insulation says it is "market leader in the manufacture of rigid phenolic and rigid urethane insulation and offers an extensive range of premium and high performance products for the industrial, commercial and housing market."
