Kingspan invests in building software firm
Louise Foody, Kingspan’s director of digital and brand, will join the company, along with Mike Stenson, innovation director.
Foody said: ‘Digitalisation enabled by technologies like building information modelling is a game changer.’ She added that Kingspan would use access to the technology to ‘collaborate more effectively with owners, designers and contractors at every stage of the building cycle’.
Invicara has a cloud-based data management system which is designed to enable owners, architects and builders to create a digital twin of a building.
