Dubai — Kingspan has started making PIR-insulated roofing systems in the UAE, according to website Trade Arabia.
The firm's Thermaroof T22 product, which is being made at the site is a high compressive strength material. The company's website said the product has a 'fibre free PIR insulation core.'
Samad Fahkri, the site's managing director said: 'Expanding our local manufacturing line will enable our customers to have quick and reliable access to insulation for their roofing needs.' It is well-suited to new builds, the firm added.
Kingspan announced that it was building a facility in the UAE in February 2017 at the same time as it saw record sales.
