Munich, Germany -- Polyurethane machinery supplier KraussMaffei's focus at the PU China event in Shenzhen, being held 18-20 Sept will include systems for lightweight components and ones with excellent surfaces.
The German machinery supplier said Chinese processors are increasingly asking about reliable machine technology for such purposes and KraussMaffei will demonstrate its competence with innovative solutions for PU processors on Stand No. 900 at PU-China.
Composites are also now being widely exploited in automotive production, the construction, furniture and leisure industries because of their unique properties.
"KraussMaffei furnishes all services along the process chain and for complete process planning from a single source. We will demonstrate our know-how at PU China by means of numerous practical examples," said Nicolas Beyl, head of Reaction Process Machinery at KraussMaffei.
For example, long fibre injection (LFI) is used along with in-mould painting for large-format components for trucks and agricultural machinery, since it gives premium quality surfaces with reasonable machine costs.
"KraussMaffei also has the necessary special know-how for the production of high-pressure mixing heads with laminar, splash-free material flow and highly accurate high-pressure metering systems, as well as extensive experience in the design of different systems for flexible and high strength polyurethane products," added Beyl.
The portfolio covers the entire process, from moulds and carriers, to cutting solutions for manufacture of ready-to-install fibre-composite components.
