Munich, Germany - German polyurethane machinery maker KraussMaffei said its SkinForm process will be the major focus on its booth at the Chinaplas trade fair, being held in Guangzhou, China from 20-23 May.
KraussMaffei said it will use its SkinForm system to produce thermoplastic injection moulded parts with a high-quality polyurethane surface finish at the event.
"We believe that the SkinForm technology has tremendous potential here in China," commented Erich Fries, head of the KraussMaffei's lightweight construction and surfaces business, in a 20 May news release. He added that KraussMaffei will be working in partnership with ECHOM Automotive of Guangzhou to mass-produce SkinForm products for the Chinese market.
KraussMaffei added that it will also use the event to tell customers that local production of its MX series injection moulding machines at its Haiyan, China plant has been "successfully launched" and first machines have begun production at a customer's site.
