By Liz White, UT staffEnglewood, Colorado-Electronics packaging group Cardxx has appointed Kevin Kucera as its chief executive officer and president. CardXX has developed what it calls "unique encapsulation technology" and was a finalist for the Polyurethane Innovation Award of the US-based Alliance of Polyurethane Industries (API). Colorado-based CardXX has developed patented technologies such as polyurethane encapsulation, used to securely seal electronics into smart cards and other portable devices.Kucera will be instrumental in Cardxx's expansion, "to increase market share and sales revenues," the company said. He brings more than 22 years of experience to the operation, having served with major corporations including Infineon Technologies, Siemens, Ball Aerospace, and Cencorp."Kevin is an asset to the company and he has a significant history in our industry.
