By David Reed, Organiser UTECH Europe 2006 ConferenceLondon-Next week Friday, 12 August, is the last date for submission of paper abstracts for possible inclusion in the the major international technical conference running alongside the UTECH Europe 2006 event.Original technical papers describing advances of importance to the future development of the polyurethanes industry are requested by the organisers, Crain Communications Ltd, as well as presentations addressing some of the major issues facing the sector, such as the environmental behaviour, fire performance, and sustainability of the industry's products.UTECH Europe 2006 will run 28-30 March 2006, in the Maastricht Exhibition and Conference Centre, in the southeast corner of the Netherlands. This location - close to the towns of Aachen, Gerrmany, and Liege, Belgium - was selected following a review of possible locations for the event. This review became necessary as the Netherlands Congress Centre in the Hague - where the UTECH Europe events have run since they were created in 1986 - is to be demolished to make way for offices for the European Courts of Justice.Time during the three-day conference programme is limited, so authors are encouraged to respond immediately, and certainly no later than the 12 August deadline set by the organisers. Contact David Reed of Crain Communications Ltd at 34 Southwark Bridge Road, London SE1 9EU, UK; Tel: +44 (0)20 7457 1407; Fax: +44 (0)20 7457 1440; Email: [email protected]"
