From Rubber & Plastics NewsShelton, Connecticut-Latex Foam International llc plans to add two fabrication facilities to bring its operation closer to its customers.The rubber latex mattress, pillow and cosmetic applicator manufacturer currently is looking at several sites in the Southeast as one location for a fabrication factory. The company, which presently operates a 19 300-sqm manufacturing plant in Shelton and a fabricating factory in Los Angeles, did not say where the other new fabricating plant will be located nor did it give the expected cost of the expansion project."This is a major step in the evolution of our company to become a more customer service-focused organisation," according to president and ceo Mike Lorelli. A fabrication facility in the Southeast, "in combination with our Connecticut and California sites, will enhance our ability to service the North American market by reducing time to delivery." "
