Malmö, Sweden – Polyols producer Perstorp has a new leadership structure to better align it with Petronas Chemicals Group’s specialty chemicals division, which also includes BRB. Perstorp was acquired by PCG Berhad in 2022.
PCG Specialty Chemicals combines the capabilities of the two subsidiaries, and the company hopes this will help it become a global leader in the specialty chemicals industry. The new leadership team draws on the expertise of both organisations.
As a result, Ib Jensen is leaving his position as president and CEO of Perstorp, having overseen the integration process after Perstorp’s acquisition by Petronas. Gorm Jensen, formerly EVP for commercial & innovation at Persorp, is now MD of Perstorp Holding.
