Southfield, Michigan – Lear’s seating division reported sales of $3.5bn in Q3 2015 compared to $3.1bn in Q3 2014.
The company’s Third Quarter 2015 Financial Results report said its outlook for seating sales in 2015 is $14.1bn. The figure is 6% higher than the segment’s 2014 revenues.
According to Lear’s 2014 report, the segment’s 2014 t0 2015 sales growth is predicted to be around half the sales growth the segment showed between 2013 and 2014.
The report said "consumer demand for additional comfort” is a major industry trend.
