Lucerne, Switzerland -- The range of polyurethane-based products showcased at this year’s Swiss Plastics fair has been praised by the Association of Foam Plastics and Polyurethane (FSK).
FSK managing director Hans Schloz said: "Some individual Swiss exhibitors certainly provided an excellent complement to the fair’s polyurethane area.”
A polyurethane-based heart valve, wound dressings, lightweight components for vehicles and polyurethane horseshoes were highlighted by the FSK MD.
The Swiss company behind Isotherm – which creates bubble-free surfaces with vacuum technology –exhibited at the event.
Isotherm AG’s CEO Daniel Luthi said: "Polyurethane cannot be explained just with words, you have to look at it in practise to understand all its possible variants."
The event took place in Lucerne from 21 to 23 January.
