Toronto, Ontario - Among the speakers at a forthcoming meeting on exploiting lignin in biochemicals will be Dr Hamdy Khalil, global director of Corporate Research & Product Development with Woodbridge Foam Corp, who will talk about potential uses of lignin in the automotive sector.
The one-day meeting, 21 June 2012, at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Toronto, Canada, will feature some 17 short presentations on a range of sectors and applications where use of lignin is currently being exploited.
Lignin research for polymer applications at Canada's National Research Council will be explored by Minh Tan Ton-That, senior NRC research officer, who has previously carried out work on using lignin in polyols to make polyurethane products.
The conference, organised by the Ontario BioAuto Council of Guelph, Ontario, will cost $500 for delegates.
