Shanghai, China – Lubrizol has signed a cooperation agreement with Angelalign Technology to advance the science of dental clear aligners. Together, the companies aim to create new aligner products that are comfortable and efficacious for the growing market.
The memorandum of understanding formalises the collaboration between Angelalign’s R&D and intelligent manufacturing capabilities and Lubrizol, which offers a portfolio of TPUs for medical applications.
They said the collaboration will help provide high-quality raw materials and enhanced product reliability for Angelalign’s customers. It has developed technologies for the automation of the entire aligner manufacturing process, and says its smart technologies make the whole process more standardised and traceable.
The two companies also plan to host regular technical workshops to explore market insights and updates on both products and regulatory issues. They believe the collaboration will enhance their ability to respond quickly to evolving market demands.
