Cleveland, Ohio -- Lubrizol Corp. is to present several of its advanced performance coatings, including urethane types for high-end flooring, at booth 3E16-18 at the Chinacoat 2011 international coatings exhibition in Shanghai. The event, one of the industry's important and influential meetings, will be held 23-25 Nov, at Shanghai's New International Expo Center.
At the show, Lubrizol will focus on solutions for the future demands of the coating industry, including its Turboset Ultra Pro, a self-crosslinking waterborne polyurethane dispersion agent that the company claims employs "next-generation technology" for sports floors and other high-end commercial and residential floor finishes.
This urethane coating eliminates the need for a separate crosslinker while delivering performance comparable to two-component waterborne systems, the company adds.
Other products on show in Shanghai include:
Solsperse hyperdispersants -- efficient pigment dispersion for automotive, OEM industrial metal, and graphic arts ink applications;
Permax polyvinylidene chloride emulsions and Carboset acrylic emulsions -- corrosion resistance for OEM industrial metal coatings;
Carboset acrylic emulsions -- improved durability of driveways, sidewalks, decorative concrete, and similar surfaces; and
LubriPrint polyethylene wax compounds -- setting and drying times of demanding media.
Noting the importance of presenting Lubrizol's advanced coatings solutions "to a very demanding global audience in one of the world's fastest-growing regions," Bernard Wong, Asia-Pacific vice president for Lubrizol Performance Coatings, said Lubrizol will "demonstrate its performance solutions' qualities and advantages, explain the technology behind them and show how our solutions consistently make an significant difference in an array of industries worldwide."
