Chennai, India — Manali Petrochemicals income from operations for the third quarter of 2016 were down 19.6% at INR 1.54bn ($230 m) compared with the third quarter of 2015, the company said.
Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items were INR 1.5bn compared with INR 2.2bn in the first half of 2015.
Manali has split out the revenue from trading for the first time in the numbers for the first half of 2016. These show that trading accounted for INR 98.5m sales generating INR 5.2m profits for the firm in the third quarter of 2016.
