By David Reed, UT EditorWhaley Bridge, UK-Autopress Ltd, which recently became independent from its OMS UK Ltd founders, is supplying a new rigid foam panel production line to Manik Prestasi Sdn Bhd of Malaysia.The new line will be installed alongside an existing similar one-also from Autopress, in its previous incarnation-at the Malaysian firm's site in Seremban, North Sembilan. This has a capacity of about 200 000m2 of panels a year, the firm has previously indicated.The additional capacity will help the firm satisfy demand in Malaysia and for its fast-growing export business supplying architectural panels to the South East Asia market, especially Taiwan. Manik Prestasi also says it is looking to introduce PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam technology in the region."
