Currently, Mapei operates two sites in India at Bengaluru, Karnataka and Vadodara, Gujarat.
Bhalla explained that the Indian production base makes a range of products for countries in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation trade area. These include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, the Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
