Gelsenkirchen, Germany -- In 2011, polyurethane hose group Masterflex AG "continued its successful business development and significantly exceeded its own guidance," said the company, announcing its provisional results on 5 March 2012.
Masterflex Group's revenue amounted to Euro 3.0 million ($4 million), 5 percent more than forecast and 15 percent more than in the previous year. Earnings (EBIT) were Euro 7.5 million (forecast: Euro 7.0 million; previous year: Euro 6.4 million). The EBIT margin thus totalled 14.2 percent (previous year: 14.0 percent).
"The excellent results prove the quality of our business with high-tech hoses and connector-systems," said Dr Andreas Bastin, ceo of Masterflex AG. "Although we are currently also investing heavily in our internationalisation and integration within the Group, we still raised the EBIT margin slightly. That is a good sign for the next few years."
Masterflex will present the complete and audited annual report 2011 at its Financials Press Conference in Duesseldorf on 29 March 2012.
