Gelsenkirchen, Germany - Masterflex SE, a manufacturer of polyurethane and plastic hoses has enjoyed its best turnover in over a decade, according to CEO Andreas Bastin.
The company said its third quarter turnover improved 'dynamically' and reached EUR 15.2m ($20.4m) - which is up 10.3% compared on the same quarter in 2012.
Its turnover of EUR 44.2 million during the first nine months of 2013 corresponds to a growth of 5.1%.
Bastin said: "Our international activities in America and Asia have been a significant contributing factor and it shows that our internationalisation strategy is proving to be effective."
The company's reported operating income (EBIT) of EUR 4.7m - and resulting margin of 10.5% - mainly reflect the staffing costs of expansion in Asia.
