Ludwigshafen, Germany - Hartwig Michels, currently president of BASF's global competence centre for procurement will become president of BASF's Europe regional division on 1 Oct 2013. He succeeds Jacques Delmoitiez, who will retire 30 Sept 2013, after working at BASF for 28 years.
Fried-Walter Münstermann, currently president, regional functions North America, at BASF Corp., Florham Park, New Jersey, will succeed Michels effective 1 Aug 2013. He will be succeeded by Dr André Becker, senior vice president, global executive human resources, from 1 July 2013.
