Kansas City, Missouri -- PDA-The Association for High Performance Elastomeric Technologies says that Mike O'Brien will address coating failures at the group's 2012 conference, which has the theme of "Innovation/Synergy."
O'Brien will discuss the challenges that arise with failures in thick-film elastomeric coatings and how to avoid these failures.
O'Brien has been in the coatings industry for more than 30 years, and began by working for two large international coating manufacturers. He then founded MARK 10 Resource Group, Inc., consultancy for facility owners, fabricators, OEM manufacturers, contractors and coatings manufacturers.
PDA says O'Brien regularly investigates premature coating failures, develops and delivers customised training programs, reviews and assists in specification development, performs job-site and plan audits and inspections.
The 2012 PDA conference is a three-day event, beginning 26 March at the Doubletree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. It will feature training courses, an innovations day for chemists, awards luncheon, international attendee reception, and sessions dedicated to discussing project profiles and new industry technology.
Registration for the conference is now open. For additional information, visit pda2012.pda-online.org.
