Vienna – Neveon has bought space in Valasske Mezirici, Czech Republic, to build a moulded foam competence centre.
The company has purchased 52,000m2 of space, which includes 18,700m2 production facilities and 1300m2 office space. No financial details were available.
CEO Oliver Bruns said: 'The new moulded foam competence centre is intended to benefit our mobility business unit and will round off our portfolio in the areas of acoustic and thermal solutions. It is an important milestone in our journey.’
Neveon is the umbrella group for all of Greiner's foam businesses, which includes Eurofoam, Multifoam, Perfoam, Unifoam and Purtec. It has 61 facilities in 18 countries, employs 3400 people, and had sales of EUR479m in 2020.
