Washington, DC – The American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry has elected a new chair and vice-chair for its steering committee.
Pavneet Mumick will be chair for the next two years, taking over from Covestro’s Julia Rubino. Mumick is global VP of technology and innovation at Huntsman’s polyurethanes division.
The new vice-chair, again for a two-year term, is Tobias Haber. He is VP for construction and performance materials for BASF in North America.
‘Our new steering committee leadership exemplifies the dedication, expertise and vision required to help with the continued success of CPI’s mission of providing effective advocacy, outreach, and robust safety education and product stewardship programs,’ said Lee Salamone, senior director at CPI.
