Alexandria, Virginia – The US Adhesive and Sealant Council has announced the new composition of its board of directors.
Brian McSwigan, previously ASC’s treasurer, has been elected as chairman until the end of 2020, and will also lead the council’s executive committee. He is vice-president for pressure sensitive adhesives at Henkel.
Replacing McSwigan as treasurer is Matt Devine, president of DHM Adhesives. As well as serving on the executive committee, he will lead the audit committee.
Charles William, senior global technical director at Avery Dennison, moves into the past chair role.
Two new board members were also elected for three-year terms. These are Robert Butera, vice-president of research, development and innovation at DAP Products, and Dan Horner, CEO of Applied Adhesives.
