Ootmarsum, the Netherlands -- Udo Storck from Germany is taking over majpority shareholding at Masterfoam BV, an independent Netherlands-based foam conversion company.
Storck, who has been commercial director and co-shareholder since 2008, iscooperating with Dutch holding company Wadinko in the takeover, from previous managing director Hein Wiegerinck.
Masterfoam, which operates throughout Europe, converts flexible foams, foils and non-woven fabrics into sealing, insulation and acoustics solutions for automotive and general industrial uses, and also has a speciality in padded transport packaging.
Alongside production facilities in Ootmarsum and Romania, the company, which was established in 1964, also has a German sales branch in Greven, North Rhine-Westphalia.
Masterfoam converts components made of flexible materials such as polyurethane and polyethylene foam, cellular rubber and foils as well as cotton and polyethylene terephthalate non-woven fabrics, into interior components and acoustics solutions. It says its customer base includes "renowned European automotive suppliers."
In addition, the Dutch company produces individual padded packaging for computer, medicine and entertainment electronics.
