Shanghai – Holly Lei has been made president of Covestro China. She was previously global head of electrical, electronics and appliances for the company's polycarbonates business unit.

Holly Lei, Covestro China's new president
Lei succeeds Bjoern Skogum, who has retired. She has been with the company for 20 years, initially as a technical representative with Bayer MaterialScience. Her background is in chemical engineering and material science.
‘Having Holly Lei in the new role is yet another step for Covestro to localise in China, the largest single market for the company,’ said Covestro’s CEO, Markus Steilemann. ‘I am convinced that with her experience in cross-cultural management around the world she will bring our business in China to a new level.’
