Darmstadt, Germany – Vibracoustic, which makes NVH components for cars and light vehicles, has opened a new material development centre.
The 2,200 m2 site houses 25 materials experts, who are developing new compounds and carrying out product development tests. These include deformation and flow characteristics of materials, corrosion testing and physical testing.
The company has a dedicated micro-cellular polyurethane shot machine on site. This enables it to make and test prototype devices in this group of materials.
