Kai Klockemann, managing director, said the company decided to build a machinery range 'after requests from customers of our systems business for a universal workhorse'.
'The concept is to offer standardised processing equipment that works in-plant as well as outside under extreme conditions,' Klockemann said.
He added that 'robust design, long operating life; the lowest possible maintenance and operating costs and high adaptability' were at the heart of the design.
The prototype machines, which are being trialled at a number of Nitroil customers, can process two components on the high-pressure side and up to four on the low-pressure side. The maximum pressure is 250 bar, and the maximum dispensing temperature is 99°C at 15 l/min. Heated hoses are supplied at lengths between 5 and 120m.
Although designed for polyurethane and polyureas, the model will process epoxies, non-isocyanate polyurethanes and other polymers that behave like polyurethanes, Klockemann said.
UTECH Europe 2018 will be held in Maastricht 28-31 May 2018.
