Gelsenkirchen, Germany -- Polyurethane hose company, Norres has launched a new tapered flange coupling system which is designed to meet DIN 3016-13, the company said.
Designated Connect 245 CSH, the adaptors are designed to work at temperatures between -40° to 90°C. They are available in standard black and orange and two models are designed to be screwed on, a third model featuring a quick-release clamp system is also available, said Norres. The firm added that the standard diameter is 250mm with an outer flange diameter of 295 and length of 108mm.
The polyether-polyurethane material from which the flanges are made give the flange adapters good resistance to oil, gasoline and chemicals. It also enables them to have high tensile strength; tear resistance; and be microbe and hydrolysis resistant, said the firm.
