Brianza, Italy -- Impianti OMS has introduced a new low-pressure metering machine for use with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU): the EL 30 S.
The EL series of machines were designed for materials with a high viscosity and gelling temperatures ranging between 15 deg C and 90 deg C, with a maximum working temperature of 150 deg C, without creating cold points on the metering line, a company statement said.
Equipped with independently controlled metering pumps with three-phase electric motors, the average outputs of the EL 30 S are 60-390 kg/h of polyol; 30-200 kg of MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate); 12-84 kg of butanediol; and 0.6-4.2 kg of catalyst. (RD)"
