Milan, Italy - Polyurethane machinery producer Impianti OMS has marked its fortieth anniversary with the inauguration of a new engineering division: OMS Automation.
OMS Automation is an in-house facility for the design and construction of dedicated cutting and handling systems for both continuous and discontinuous panel lines, the company said recently. Luciano Boscari and Maurizio Parlato will head the new division.
OMS Automation will focus on the supply of special machines for the composite panel production sector, including longitudinal and transverse cutting units, "in-flight" cross cutting machinery, horizontal and vertical cooling conveyors, unloading and stacking manipulators, packing and palletising lines and special solutions tailor-made according to specific customer requirements, the statement said.
"We believe our technology and quality to be second to none in the market and we can proudly list all the most important manufactures in Europe and around the world as not only customers but also partners with whom we have worked and cooperated to bring their most ambitious projects to fruition," said OMS sales manager Eraldo Greco.
