Lyon, France-Rhodia Organics and SpecialChem have launched an online technical centre, to help formulators of paints & coatings take "full advantage of polyurethane technology's benefits."
Rhodia offers a wide range of aliphatic polyisocyanates for coatings, adhesives and leather finishing manufacturers. These materials offer enhanced technical performance and improve process productivity, Rhodia claims, while evolving towards more environmentally and user-friendly products.
"Polyurethanes based on aliphatic polyisocyanates are increasingly used in industrial coatings for their superior durability, excellent mechanical properties and high chemical resistance," said the company.
Cooperating with SpecialChem will "allow us to provide a better service to paint formulators and inform them about our full range of polyisocyanate" said Moussa Naciri, vice president for Industrial Coatings. For example, we have a strong focus on our unique patented Rhodocoat technology, which brings to the market an effective and environmentally friendly replacement for solvent-based systems," Naciri commented. Visitors to the web-based centre will find out more about Rhodia's Rhodocoat EZ-M (easy mixing) and EZ-D (easy drying) self-emulsifiable crosslinkers.
Naciri said these products have been specifically designed to meet customers' needs for "easy mixing, fast drying and extended formulation possibilities."
