London, Ontario -- The Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology and the University of Western Ontario will work together on developing composite materials for lightweight vehicles.
The Fraunhofer Project Centre for Composites Research @ Western, known as [email protected], will be located in London, Ontario, and include a hydraulic press with a maximum clamping force of 2500 tonnes, which it will use for research on parts in full industrial scale.
The joint project centre will run for an initial period of five years."
