Oranienburg, Germany – Self-adhesive films specialist Orafol has extended its range of paint protective films for the automotive sector. Its Oraguard 2815 stone guard films are made from highly transparent thermoplastic polyurethane, and the company has added two new products to the range.
The films are designed to protect premium vehicles from damage, whether mechanical or from the environment, preserving their colour and maintaining their value. The new products, the glossy 2815GF+ and matte-finish 2815MF+, feature what the company describes as a “lotus effect”, which it says gives effective, long-lasting protection against dust and dirt.
The films are making their debut at the FESPA trade show in Munich, being held from 23 to 26 May. At the show, the company will also be giving a live demonstration of the car-wrapping process on its stand, using its cast TPU film Orajet 3971RA+ ProSlide.
