Dallas, Texas -- Oxea, a US-based global supplier of solvents, polyols and oxo derivatives, will increase polyol prices on 1 Jan 2010, or as contracts allow.
In Europe, neopentylglycol (NPG) and trimethylolpropane (TMP) prices will increase by Euro 40/tonne, and 1,3 butylene glycol prices will increase by Euro 75/tonne, Oxea said 9 Dec.
In the US and Asia, prices of NPG, TMP and 1,3 Butylene Glycol will increase by $0.05/lb and $100/tonne, respectively.
Oxea, which has annual sales of around $1700 million, supplies products used to make high-quality coatings, lubricants, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products, flavourings and fragrances, printing inks and plastics. (RD)
