Chattanooga, Tennessee - Pathway Polymers has appointed two new managers, Scott Snider and Ray Whitfield, for its Chattanooga facility.
Scott Snider will be responsible for covering dual roles as director of manufacturing and site manager. Snider has over 22 years of experience in the chemical industry.
Ray Whitfield was appointed as quality control manager and will be responsible for spearheading Pathway's ISO9001 initiative, scheduled to be completed in early 2009. Whitfield has over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry, and is a certified Quality Lead Auditor.
A subsidiary of the UK-based Vita Group, Pathway Polymers' core business includes the product TyrFil, which is a two-component polyurethane elastomer system used for flat-proofing industrial tyres. Annual revenues exceeded $34 million in 2007 with the company expecting double-digit growth in 2008.
