Chattanooga, Tennessee --- Flatproofing company Pathway Polymers has appointed Fernando Bedos as general director of International Business.
Bedos began his career on Wall Street with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. He has more than 25 years of international business experience, and "brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in letters of credit, trade finance and customer service to our international customers," said a 21 Dec Pathway announcement.
"We are focused on growing our business outside of North America in Europe, China, Australia, Africa and especially in Latin America," said Mike Arnold, Pathway Polymers executive vice president Sales & Marketing. "Fernando is skilled in completing international transactions effectively and efficiently. His international relationships and expertise in managing international sales organisations is a perfect fit for Pathway Polymers and our TyrFil dealers."
Pathway Polymers, a subsidiary of The Vita Group, is the inventor and manufacturer of TyrFil, the world's first polyurethane tyre fill product. As well as this leading technology in tyre flatproofing, Pathway provides the patented AutoFil Recycling Systems.
Pathway said Bedos has experience in global trade services, international trade finance and international business development. Most recently he held international positions with Global Vehicles USA; Cross Lander USA; and Union Planters Bank in Florida.
