Chattanooga, Tennessee- - Tyre fill producer Pathway Polymers has renewed its ISO 9001: 2008 certification following an assessment by Perry Johnson Registrars Inc.
For Pathway, this is its second ISO 9001:2008 certification
The company says the certification by the International Standardisation Organisation (ISO) recognises Pathway's commitment to improving its design, manufacture and distribution of flatproofing products and custom toll production of speciality chemicals.
Pathway's quality policy focuses on five major elements: meeting or exceeding stated obligations for product quality; shipping all products on or before agreed ship date; continuously improving its products, processes and quality management systems; meeting or exceeding customers' expectations; and the continuous training of personnel.
"We take the ISO certification process very seriously as it helps to assure our diverse OEM, Aftermarket and International customer base of our commitment to providing world class products and services," said Mike Arnold, Pathway Polymers' executive vice president of sales and marketing, in a company statement.
Pathway Polymers is the inventor and manufacturer of TyrFil, which it says is the world's first polyurethane tyre fill product. A global technology leader in the tyre flatproofing industry, Pathway Polymers is the exclusive provider of the patented AutoFil Recycling Systems.
